A summer holiday packed full of surprises and adventures.
This summer I have been hugely spoilt traveling from as far afield as Colombia to the beautiful, Jurassic coast of England.
Our adventueres started in Miami. We were staying at Soho Beach House, on south beach. The perfect place to fully unwind from the frantic routine of daily life in London. We were beautifully looked after by a host of gorgeous staff so much so found we had very little reason to leave! That said we did make it to the Everglades, a trip none of us will forget. Traveling across the wetlands in an air boat, looking for alligators. 'The Everglades is a natural region of tropical wetlands in the southern portion of the U.S. state of Florida'.
Colombia
From Miami we flew directly to Cartagena in Colombia and from the airport we headed straight to the port and jumped on a tiny boat to Tierra Bomba. Tierra Bomba is a small island right across the bay from Cartagena. It is known for its white sand beaches and relaxed environment. And that is exactly what greeted us at The Blue Apple Beach House.
