What an incredible venture, Fine Cell Work, a unique charity and social enterprise which trains prisoners in paid, highly-skilled and creative, needlepoint to foster hope, discipline and self-esteem.
"Stitchers in prisons around the UK are given training and support by experienced volunteers, including members of the Embroiders and Quilters guild, and spend hours working to produce highly crafted cushions, bags, wall- hangings and quilts, as well as incredible bespoke commissions. The prisoners are paid for their work which is then sold across the world."
