London Design Festival 2016
This week I had my work cut out enjoying everything that is happening throughout this year's London Design Festival. It is a military operation, making sure I don't miss out. London at its best. London is open.
Decorex, a beautiful show at Syon Park, London with over 400 exhibitors, an annual must see - meeting lots of new exhibitors and also catching up with old ones. I took a lovely client and it was a wonderful opportunity to see her reaction to different spaces, lighting, colour, form and function.
London Design Fair, an extension show featuring many small independent designer makers throughout pockets of London, the focal point being at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane within the Shoreditch Design Triangle.
London Design Biennale, the first in the UK and an absolute show stopper, hosted by Somerset House but not forgetting Focus/16, at Chelsea Harbour and then the other pockets within central London - Shoreditch, Clerkenwell, Islington, Brompton, Chelsea and Brixton Design Triangle, District or Quarter! Sadly this year I didn't make it to 100% Design...
