The last few months we have been concentrating and working on lots of new and exciting things but before we do our grand reveal I wanted to write about an exciting week I very much enjoyed at London Design Week 2017 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, London.
Each year I love the buzz and energy coming out of each and every showroom at the harbour - it is wonderful how the centre comes alive and the conversation and the inspiration becomes intoxicating. I have fallen in love with many of the new collections and met and put lots of wonderful new face to names but I think my most exciting introduction was to the Tissue d'Helene showroom in Design Centre East. Their variety of different and eclectic brands lent itself well to a morning of complete happiness.
Then I met the lovely Jane at Studio Tex and the team behind the Ultra cool London based design firm A Rum Fellow who have collaborated with the luxury New York textile house Pollack to design a range of high performance indoor/outdoor fabrics for their Spring 2017 collection. A Rum Fellow are already proving a huge hit with design firms this season due to their vibrant weaves.
Now it is back to my desk with a plethora of inspiration and ideas. Heres to an exciting few months ahead.
