The Faces of Chelsea...

Chapter 4.

Chelsea in Bloom - Lion Cub

Wowsers, I love this week of the year and every year - Chelsea comes alive, with the annual Chelsea in Bloom and the incredible Chelsea Flower Show at Royal Hospital. I have made a firm promise to myself that I will go next year and hopefully then I might actually have something more than our balcony but a real garden to design.. Well at least here's hoping. I don't admit to having terribly green fingers but I do love everything floral, botanical but most of all because of nature's colours. Nature as a result has always been a wonderful source of inspiration for many many of my interiors and a lovely place to start.

On this glorious sunny sunny day I wondered from school through Chelsea in Bloom, down the Kings Road onto Duke of York square, round Sloane Square, onto Symons Street and back up the Kings Road to the office and boy was I in for a treat.

Lions on the Kings Road, Rhinoceros on Symons Street, Monkeys on Sloane Street, Giraffe on Sloane Square, I could go on and on.

I think in my next life I would love to be a florist... Incredible work by everyone.
