Annie and I have been friends since we were 15, brought together through our parents. What began as a childhood bond soon grew into a deep friendship built on shared passions for design, creativity, and collaboration. Over the years, we found ourselves drawn to working together professionally, and this led us to form AB Design and Interiors. Our complementary backgrounds—mine in the arts and Annie’s in architecture—created a natural synergy, allowing us to bring fresh perspectives to every project.

While we thrived as interior designers, we soon realised there was something missing—a space where people like us could connect beyond the scope of client work. We longed for a community where creative minds could come together, not just to network, but to collaborate, exchange ideas, and form lasting relationships in a more meaningful and relaxed setting. That's how Truffles & Ruffles was born.

It started around our kitchen tables, inviting fellow designers, stylists, and creatives from the interiors world to gather and share. What began as small, informal get-togethers quickly evolved into something much bigger. We found that people were craving these opportunities for genuine connection. The response was overwhelming, and Truffles & Ruffles grew into a thriving community.

Now, our events bring together an eclectic mix of creative professionals—from designers and artists to photographers, journalists, and interiors enthusiasts. Each gathering is an opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversation, spark new ideas, and foster collaboration. We’ve created a space that feels like home—a place where people feel connected for life.
