An Afternoon of Blooms and Bliss: A Truffles & Ruffles Lunch at Gem’s Cotswold Flower Farm
We had the most magical day recently at Gem's beautiful flower farm, where we collaborated to host a lunch that truly celebrated the artistry of nature and the joy of connection. From the vibrant blooms to the exquisite table settings, every detail came together perfectly in the heart of the Cotswolds and thankfully rain held off until nearer the end of the day...
Gem’s stunning farm provided the ultimate backdrop for an autumn gathering, where the flowers not only surrounded us but also inspired the day’s design. A huge thank you to Gem for hosting us so graciously and for creating such a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy!
A Liberty Tablescape in Bloom
One of the show-stopping elements of the day was the breathtaking Liberty tablecloth and napkins, lovingly crafted by the talented Alice from @alicecarolinefabrics. Her vibrant floral designs brought the spirit of the farm right to the table, enhancing the atmosphere with their bold and beautiful patterns, giving the lunch a distinctly English charm that perfectly matched the surrounding blooms.
Halliesphere: A Flower Lover’s Dream
We were delighted to collaborate with Jenny, the founder of @halliesphere, whose beautifully crafted ceramic flower arrangers make it easy to create stunning, florist-worthy displays. These unique arrangers allow you to transform any vessel into a vase with effortless elegance, season after season. At this event, Gem used a Halliesphere on Jenny’s charming teacups to craft exquisite floral arrangements, showcasing the versatility and beauty of this clever design. Whether working with a favourite cup or an unexpected container, Halliesphere brings a fresh, creative touch to every bloom.
Capturing the Magic
No event would be complete without the talented Lou from @lsouza_photography, who worked her magic behind the lens. Lou’s eye for detail and her ability to capture the spirit of the day are second to none. It’s clear that Lou captured the magic that unfolded during the lunch—from the laughter of guests to the stunning tablescape and the blooming flowers all around us.
A Gathering of Creative Minds
What truly made this lunch special were the guests—each one a talented and inspiring creative. The conversations flowed and the ideas exchanged were as bright and lively as the blooms that surrounded us. It was a true pleasure to gather around the table with such wonderful people, all of us united by our love for beauty, creativity, and, of course, flowers.
