We had the absolute pleasure of another fabulous lunch, generously hosted by Julia @collinsandgreenart at her beautiful studio in Chelsea. Julia’s studio, with its collection of stunning vintage and decorative art, provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderfully creative collaboration. This time, we were joined by the talented Anna and Lotte from Lamp Ldn, who worked their magic on the tablescape. Their collection of crockery, ceramics, and glassware, all in rich, vibrant hues, set the tone for a truly spectacular table.
Hannah @minnowandwolf brought it all to life with her gorgeous Icelandic poppies, whose delicate colours harmonised effortlessly with Lamp’s pieces, creating a bold and joyful celebration of colour. The table was a fabulous riot, with every detail meticulously planned and thoughtfully curated. The blend of textures and tones—from the soft, organic shapes of the flowers to the striking lines of the glassware—created a visual feast that left everyone in awe.
Of course, no Truffles and Ruffles event would be complete without an exceptional menu, and Sophie from @edible_food_design didn’t disappoint. She crafted a delicious three-course seasonal feast, with every dish perfectly complementing the vibrant and lively atmosphere at the table. From the freshest ingredients to the artful presentation, it was an absolute treat for the senses. We were truly spoiled, with each course feeling like a celebration of the best of seasonal British produce.
It was a joyous afternoon, full of laughter, delicious food, and beautiful company. Surrounded by Julia’s inspiring artwork and the thoughtful creativity of our collaborators, the entire event felt like a dream—an absolute feast for the eyes and soul. Honestly, it’s my idea of heaven, and I can't wait to do it all again soon!
